We are looking for a strong HR generalist who can work independently and effectively manage stakeholder relations. You will manage and optimize the Employee Experience throughout the whole Employee Lifecycle for our US colleagues.
You will be the go-to person for all HR topics such as contracts, compensation & benefits, payroll, reimbursements, travel tools, and on- & offboarding for our offices in New York and San Francisco.
You will handle or channel employee questions and requests, and coordinate service providers.
You will advise the global management as well as the global HR team on local HR topics and ensure good and regular communications between US offices and other offices.
You will make sure we're effectively promoting our great employer brand and vacancies in the US while also keeping an eye on the newest recruitment trends, platforms and channels.
You will ensure a high-quality candidate experience from approaching and sourcing suitable candidates to coordinating interviews and offers.
You will be responsible for all office topics in New York, including coordinating rent contracts and procurement.
You will be a positive presence in the office and strive to make the team happy by organizing team events and office perks.
You have got 2-3 years of experience in a Generalist or similar role and you have a passion for HR and innovation.
You have the ability to communicate effectively across different different channels and cultures.
You have good knowledge of HR processes and concepts as well as US Labor Law and regulations.
You have the drive and initiative to independently identify issues, analyze causes, suggest solutions and implement them with stakeholders.
Basic knowledge about applicable regulations in New York and California advantageous.
SHRM, CIPD or similar professional qualification preferred.
Previous recruiting experience advantageous.

You are open to travel to our Berlin headquarters once or twice per year and SF office on occasion.
